Founded on Purpose, Rooted in Community
Mark and Victoria established Healing Arts Center in Virginia Beach after witnessing a significant need in their community. People were searching for holistic support that acknowledged the connection between physical experience and emotional wellbeing. Their goal from day one has remained consistent: empowering others to make choices that serve their happiness and cultivate inner peace.
Mark
Mark's military leadership background provided him with deep insight into discipline, resilience, and what drives human capability. In the years leading up to his retirement from military service, he explored art as a tool for healing and self-expression after finding that traditional approaches had not fully supported him in processing his feelings. This personal transformation through creative exploration fundamentally shifted how he understood the healing process.
Today, Mark works with clients through art-based coaching, guiding them to recognize their own strengths and use those strengths to create new possibilities. He supports people working through pain, grief, fear, or chronic stress, using imagination and creative expression as pathways to access and articulate what they need.
Victoria
Throughout her career, Victoria has guided hundreds of people across diverse life circumstances. Her client base includes college students navigating academic demands, young professionals establishing their careers, active parents juggling multiple responsibilities, and families moving through significant transitions. She brings specialized understanding to her work with military and Special Operations Forces spouses and family members, recognizing the distinct pressures of military life. Her support for this population specifically addresses deployment cycles, frequent relocations, and the particular stress of supporting service members.
As a somatic and mindfulness coach, Victoria draws on Polyvagal-informed practices, mindfulness-based stress reduction, somatic experiencing techniques, breathwork, and nervous system regulation, all grounded in trauma-informed principles. Her foundational belief centers on a simple truth: healing requires being seen, heard, and genuinely supported. This conviction shapes every aspect of her work at Healing Arts Center.

Serving Hampton Roads
Healing Arts Center provides refuge for community members seeking rest, restoration, and reconnection with themselves. People come to us throughout different chapters of their lives, whether addressing stress, working through physical challenges, or finding ways to feel more comfortable in their own bodies.
Each session responds to individual circumstances and needs. Some clients seek support for physical discomfort. Others focus on nervous system regulation. Many simply need protected time and space for themselves. Whatever brings someone through our doors, the work is designed around their specific situation.
Our standing in this community has developed through years of committed service and authentic care. We approach wellness as fundamental work rather than temporary interest. This work deserves intention, expertise, and genuine attention. Progress happens through consistent support and the willingness to show up for yourself repeatedly.
