When your nervous system is regulated and in balance, challenges can feel easier to meet without overwhelm. When your system is in survival mode, calm, presence, and connection are hard to reach.
This class is one hour of guided practice in reconnecting with your body, with presence and care. You try each tool in the room, so you can keep practicing it at home. Regulation grows from repeating these practices over time, so think of this hour as the first practice of many.
In this class, you will:
Learn grounding techniques
Explore tools to help you move out of fight, flight, freeze, or fawn
Practice ways to release stress
Practice nervous system regulation and moving through emotions
A balanced nervous system is grounded in listening to your body. You already have everything this practice asks for.
In this hour, you practice settling your body and noticing how you respond to stress. You begin to notice what regulation feels like in your own body, apart from the noise of the wellness industry.
People often come to nervous system regulation hoping for:
Better sleep
Better focus and concentration
More capacity to feel big emotions and recover from them
Closer relationships through co-regulation
One hour introduces the practices. Any change comes from what you repeat afterward, and it differs from person to person.
This work asks you to do less. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your sleep, your relationships, and your stress is to slow down and listen. This hour is practice in doing just that.
