Eventually, the nervous system can get stuck — running on high alert even when there's nothing to run from.
What Is Somatic Practice, Anyway?
"Somatic" simply means relating to the body. Somatic practice is a gentle, evidence-informed approach to wellness that works with the intelligence already living inside you. Rather than trying to think your way out of stress, somatic practice invites you to feel your way through it — slowly, safely, and with care.
It's not about performing relaxation or forcing yourself to be calm. It's about giving your body the right conditions to remember that calm is actually its natural state.
What Happens in a Session
Our Intro to Somatic Practice session is a dedicated sixty minutes, just for you and your nervous system. Using a thoughtful blend of somatic movement, breathwork, guided imagery, and meditation, you'll be introduced to practical tools you can take home and use in your everyday life.
Each technique is grounded in an understanding of how the nervous system works — and how to gently coax it out of overdrive. From there, somatic practice helps release the tension that often gets stored in the body after long periods of stress — the tight shoulders, the clenched jaw, and the low hum of anxiety.
Who Is This For?
This session is for anyone who is curious about wellness and wants to understand the connection between their mind and body. You don't need any prior experience with meditation, yoga, or somatic work. You just need to show up.
Whether you're navigating burnout, dealing with everyday stress, or simply ready to slow down and feel more like yourself again — this is a good place to start.
