From self-care to sharing Reiki with others.
This full-day certification combines two trainings that we usually teach separately: the Reiki for Self-Care workshop and the Level I Practitioner Certification. The morning is spent entirely on your own practice, so you are grounded and comfortable working with Reiki on yourself before the afternoon asks you to work with anyone else. By the end of the day you will be a certified Level I Reiki practitioner, prepared to offer Reiki to family, friends, and clients.
Who this is for
Open to complete beginners, and to anyone who has taken Reiki for Self-Care and wants to continue to practitioner level. No prior experience with Reiki or energy work is required.
Part 1: Reiki for Self-Care (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
The morning covers the body and mind connection and how Reiki fits into a daily mindfulness practice. You will learn to use Reiki to settle your nervous system and reduce stress, working only with your own energy. We teach specific hand placements for self-treatment and grounding practices you can return to at home, so the technique becomes something you own rather than something you watched.
Part 2: Level I Practitioner Certification (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
The afternoon begins with the Reiki Level I attunement, the ceremony that opens and strengthens your connection to Universal Life Force energy and is the defining step of Level I training. From there you will learn the ethics, professional boundaries, and hands-on techniques you need to share Reiki with others responsibly, and you will practice giving and receiving Reiki in a supervised small group.

The Level I attunement, which connects you to the flow of Universal Life Force energy and makes it possible to channel Reiki for others.
Supervised hands-on practice in a small group, giving and receiving Reiki so you build confidence before working on your own.
Ethics and boundaries, including how to protect your own energetic integrity while offering a safe, non-judgmental session to someone else.
The history of Reiki and the principles that define a professional practice.
Registration details
Participants attend the full day, since the morning practice prepares you for the afternoon certification. Your registration covers both segments. There is a one-hour break for lunch between the two parts, and you will receive your Level I certificate at the end of the day.
